| Comments: | This song is about the first time a bird has taken flight from the nest. It opens with the first wing flaps and flight, laments in the second movement at the bird's fatigue, and rejoices finally at the bird's proud return home. I hope everybody enjoys this piece, and I will accept any comments regarding it. |
