Comments:At his death in 1847, Mendelssohn left behind fragments
of what was to have been an oratorio on the life of Christ.
There are two sections, one on the birth of Christ and the
other about the Passion of Christ. This chorus is the only
chorus from the section on the birth of Christ. it was
sequenced by J. R. Jennings in 2005.
