| Comments: | The Toccata from Widor’s 5th symphony is very well known but the other four parts of the work are rarely performed. Widor introduces a fourth staff at intervals where two upper manuals are being played; this is not easy to reproduce with NWC. The use of the fourth manual here is indicated by a superscript title – “Swell”, “Choir” etc but it is also used to ease notation elsewhere |
