| Comments: | Memoriam was initially a trumpet solo with piano accompianment that I began writing during morning of September 11, 2001. By the time I completed it, it had become a tribute to those who had died that day. Almost two years later, I began to redevelop this original concept so that it could be performed by the Hobart City Concert Band. This current piece is the result of redevelopment from a trumpet solo to an orchestral piece to being a concert band piece. It is now a tribute to the 9/11 victims as well as the 202 Bali victims (including 88 Australians).
