| Comments: | Slow Hungarian pair dance from Válaszút village, Mezõség area, Transsylvania, Romania. The piece was collected by Andrásfalvy, Kallós, Martin and Pesovár. The bratsa and bass accompaniment of the piece is written by me, only the melody line was published with the rithm of the other two instruments. This is an asymmetric "duvo", which is very similar in these transylvanian dances. In the original 4/4 metrum of the melody, the accompaniment modifies into 3:2 or 4:3 ratios, wich should be notated with pentuplet and seventuplets. This is why I use the strange ties on these lines. |
