Comments:This sonata (first of three) was written when Beethoven was
between the ages of eleven and thirteen! and published by Bossler of Spire
in 1783 at the instigation of his teacher, Christian Gottlob Neefe. Note the
foretaste of the "Appassionata" in the first movement...

Beethoven viewed these three sonatas favorably, even later, at the height
of his powers.
