Full name of work:Gladiator March (1886)
Composer:Sousa, John Philip (1854-1932), USA
Arranger:Jim Karageanes (2005)
Music category:Anthems / Military
Name of file creator:Jim Karageanes
e-mail address:Doctor_Zorba "at" comcast "dot" net
Running time:00:02:44
Comments:Sousa's first "big hit" in the world of band music. It's dedicated to a Boston journalist. Why the title was chosen is not known. For myself, the music seems appropriate for the entrance of the matadors at bullfights.
