Full name of work:Nocturne for Piano, Violin and Cello
Composer:Darby, Bob (1947- ), English
Music category:Classical
Instruments:Piano, Violin and Cello
Name of file creator:Darby, Bob
e-mail address:bob "at" per-nefer "dot" net
website:http://www.per-nefer.net/
Running time:00:08:58
Comments:This is a single movement piece in simple rondo form which, as the name suggests, is intended to reflect the tranquility of the night, although a discordant crescendo towards the end of the middle section suggests a rather disturbed sleep, possibly a nightmare! This, along with much of my other music has been run through Edirol Orchestral HQ sofware synthesizer to give sounds as close as possible to the actual instruments in the score: it can be heard as a wma file at www.per-nefer.net/bob_music.htm.
