NWC version-2. Full conductor's score is print-ready. To print individual parts, change the label parameter of the "Header Overlay" staff to that of the staff it overlays. The overlay staff is a universal template for printing any instrument's part. There are no muted staves employed. All notes in the visible "timpani" and "harp" staves are muted so these staves are not affected by NWC's "Mute Control" which can audition individual orchestral sections.
Original source for this score is "Etudes symphoniques," Op. 13, for piano solo, written in 1834. This work was extensively revised for the 2nd edition of the composers' complete piano music (1854) where Schumann deleted some portions and subtitled it, "Twelve etudes in the form of variations." The arranger acknowledges the invaluable performance edition and manuscript notes of Ignace J. Paderewski which were published in 1901.
