Balanced for the Ensoniq /Creative PCI 64 soundcard (8Mb wavetable v4.0).
This piece is basically a set of dances each having a DS section, with an introduction and coda framing the set. Because of the current limitations of NoteWorthy, only the first waltz (No.1) uses a DS repeat, the others are written out in full. I am aware that most of these repeats are omitted when the piece is played in concert. There are two codas in the score, the first is for the choral version and is much shorter. As the choral parts are not included, I use the second and more familiar coda with its magical recapitulation of all the main themes. The file is not optimised for printing. It uses boxmarks and also the Cyrillic portion of Times New Roman (Unicode v 2.5 or higher) for the "No." symbol. I did this because it most closely resembles the typeface used in the paper score. This font should be part of the standard installation in all Win98/NT and most Win 95 systems. I don't know how it will look under Win3.1. The Unicode functionality of NoteWorthy is one of the hidden bonuses of the program - it enables you to enter lyrics and score directions in many languages, including some non-Roman scripts.
